The End

Got into Harrisburg today (Hershey Country, check out the street lights) and looking at making it to Peder's house tomorrow and to Coopers party :)! Really looking forward to seeing everyone! We hope all of you enjoyed some of the pictures we took !

Heading back

So we left Nashville this AM EARLY as we had difficulty finding a room close enough to where we wanted to travel because of a football game at Virginia Tech , the closing of 95 down in the Carolina's and Columbus Day weekend!All the hotels were sold out so we ended up in a town called Lexington VA which is a college town and found a very nice eatery in town called the "SOUTHERN INN" Good food and good people! We drove today about eight hours:(!

Nashville

Hey ! So we decided to take in Nashville and visit the Grand Ole Opry
And then went downtown Nashville which was okay! We had lunch at a place called the "ACME FEED & SEED" which had a great beef brisket sandwich! Heading towards the blue ridge mountains tomorrow AM!

Catfish House

We had dinner last night at this local eatery and it was very good so if you are in Clarksville Tn look it up! I never had Cat Fish before and it was outstanding!

ST Louis Arch

We visited downtown Saint Louis and decided to go up in the Arch which is up around 630 feet up! Very cool :)

Sabrina KS to Saint Louis MO

This was the highlight of our drive yesterday :)! More corn ,soy beans and wind farms but the roads and the driving is great! We drive about 5.5 hrs! We are planning to go downtown to visit the ARC and then to head towards Nashville TN!

Salina Ks

Uneventful travel to Salina KS! Lots of wind generator farms out here and oil pumps! Didn't take any photos had a good steak dinner at a place called TUCSONS!

Littleton CO with Karen and Nick

We had a great time with Karen and Nick at the Breckenridge Brewery which included a tour of the brewery and an absolutely great dinner!
Very nice afternoon!

Littleton

Just got into Littleton CO just outside Denver! Just took a few pics on the highway! It was quite an up and down and around trip but a nice trip! The roads are absolutely great out here! Hanging here for a couple days!

Moab

So we went through the Arches National Park today in this Jeep ( only kidding) and it will probably be the last of the ROCK AND PARK pictures we will be sending to the blog!
We are in Grand Junction CO tonight in downtown which is very nice as far as unique shops and restaurants! Heading off to Denver for a couple of days to visit the area , Karen and Nick and then head back to RI!

Bryce Canyon to Moab Utah

We decided to take the scenic route between Bryce Canyon and Moab which was a little longer but well worth the drive and these are a couple of pics on the trip! Long drive with a lot of turns and slow downs but a very beautiful drive ! Got into Moab a little late and didn't get to see to much so we are going back into the park tomorrow to see the arches etc!

Bryce Canyon

Hey a few shots of Bryce! The parks out here have so many different things that are unique about them even though I think Marge and I have about seen enough rocks, granite, etc we are looking forward to Moab today and then off to Denver tomorrow!

Zion park

We did Zion park today which was a fantastic park to visit! The park is very beautiful with a shuttle bus that will take up to eight different drop off points where you can walk many different trails at many different levels depending on your fitness level! I took a bunch of pics and thought you might like these!

Salt Lake City

So we walked all day today visiting and getting a tour of the Temple of Latter-Day Saints! Of course we had to cruise downtown shopping area! It was nice to be out of the car all day! Nice break! Heading to Zion Park tomorrow !

Jackson Hole, Salt Lake City

We walked around Jackson Hole which has a lot of very nice shops, picked up a few things and they even had a Starbucks! It started to rain a little so then we left for Salt Lake City and hit a brewery there named SQUATTERS which had great beer , pizza etc. Food and service was very good! Going to probably do the city tomorrow and then Zion Park on Tues!

Teton Park

Just an absolutely beautiful park and drive from Yellowstone to Jackson Hole! Great time of year to visit here!

Yellowstone

Hey did the rest of Yellowstone ,old faithful a little buffalo dung and a hot springs and a lot of beautiful country! Settled in Teton Village at the Hotel Tarra! Super place!

Yellowstone an Montana

So we entered Yellowstone Tom the east entrance and exited the west entrance into Montana for the night ! All is good had a great day! Going back to Yellowstone tomorrow to visit Old Faithfull

First mishap

Seems like we have one wine glass without a stem:( !Bandaid to the rescue!:) Almost was a disaster:!!!!

Cody

Hey they have a museum in Cody that is actually five different museums that is just awesome! We spent almost all day there and had to rush through the last part to see it! If you ever come here plan to see it!

Morning All :)
Drove to Cody WY yesterday! About a seven hour drive! Went across Big Horn mountain which was absolutely beautiful! Going to tour Cody today and Yellowstone tomorrow!
